Cheltenham, Centre for the Cotswolds
Cheltenham really is a fascinating Regency town in its own right, and an excellent centre for touring the Cotswold region and beyond. The family and staff at our Bed and Breakfast Hotel in Cheltenham are happy to advise on different local attractions and villages. Cheltenham is also well known for the superb Race Course at Prestbury Park and the many excellent Festivals that take place in the town.
Cheltenham Spa is famous for its handsome Regency and Victorian architecture, smart broad avenues and fine parks. It became prosperous after the discovery in the 1730’s of medicinal waters – still available to curious visitors.
